About me

Hello! I’m Robbie. I'm a lighting designer originally from Ireland working mainly in the UK and throughout Europe.

After graduating from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow, I spent the majority of my early career working as a technician with companies such as Cirque Du Soleil, The Old Vic Theatre, and Disney.

From there I began designing projects of my own on the fringe and have since grown to design productions for Welsh National Opera, The Royal Lyceum Theatre Edinburgh, The English Theatre Frankfurt, Theatre by the Lake, Nottingham Playhouse, Watford Palace Theatre, The Unicorn Theatre, The Marlowe Theatre, Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and The Octagon Theatre Bolton to name but a few.

Further credits include collaborations with the Wardrobe Ensemble, Tarento Productions, The Orwell Foundation and Abandoman.

I am always interested in collaborating on exciting and engaging new productions in circus, theatre, music and opera.
